Hello to all, I am posting here to see if anyone can help me with any added
info on a piece of gear I have. I have been unable to find ANY info on the web concering the model or dates of manufacture for what I have, although I have had the amp serviced and it is performing wonderfully, I would like to know more about it. What I have is a The Fisher Medallist Series II mono console, in what I am guessing oak or walnut finish, The cabinet has seen better days, but the chassis of the electronics section is pristine and virgin. Currently it is out of the cabinet and running it remotely until I figure out what to do with it, (build it a stand alone cabinet, or something) anyone know anything about these and when they were made or what to insure it for? how about power output, the back of the tuner/amp says model R-20, and it has the magic eye tuning indicator (very cool, but not as cool as the scope on my Marantz Model 19) All in all a really neat unit that I don't know much about, I was lucky to find it in such great shape, it sounds remarkable and hopefully someone here can shed some light on this mystery. Thanks, Drew |

Essentially you have a Mono Receiver.
The tuner/preamp is equivalent to an FM-80t and the amp section is identical to a 30a. Not worth much, fairly rare, and good sound. Best, JD "kungdrew" wrote in message ...
