Back about 10 years ago, I traded a blown rawframe Celestion speaker for
this non working WEST FILLMORE. Recently I got it working... It is a 4x6550 with a DYNACO A431 output tranny (as used in the MARK VI, I think). It is an ultra linear OT and has taps for 4,8, 16. Basic schematic is pretty fender/marshall as far as tone stack/phase inverter. The amp has incredible punch and was tested through a 2x12" Bandmaster cab loaded with VOX bulldogs (which we did not blow as we didn't push things). Anyway, I am looking for another person with one of these to ask questions as I plan to restore it cosmetically...It has a missing faceplate (partially) and I would like to see what it looked like originally. Also, I would be interested in pictures of the WEST cabs that were sold to accompany it. Any help is appreciated... Thanks take away the extra in my email...you know what to do... Tim |
