Default Oldschool Precision Power PC2150 running 3 ohm mono?

I know the specs are for 2 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono, but has anybody
ever run one for an extended period at a lower resistance? I am
replacing my JL 10W6's and it's near impossible now to find a good sub
that has dual 6 ohm voicecoils (the reviews on the Audiobahn's are
that they are crap for SQ). Althoughthe amp is old, it's a classic and
still runs perfectly.
