Default Possible to use car subs/speakers with PA power amp?

Subject pretty much sums it up..

For example -
One of these:

Sure.

The only drawback is trying to use the amp in a car. There is nothing special about
car speakers except they tend to follow old school low impedance drivers
because the old amps did not have switching power inverters.

They wouldn't be used in a car, I was just wondering about using a
specific sub at home (not the pioneers, just an example) for bass
monitoring in the studio..

You just have to consider the crossover (s) involved. Many Car bass amps have built in filtering.
