Default Wher to connect "lights on signal" to ne headunit?

I have a wire call "lights on signal" from the car and it goes to the radio.
Where should this wire be connected to, 12V acc, 12V ant or something else?

It should be connected to something that is at 12V when the lights are
switched on. You cannot use instrument lighting, because that has a
variable voltage. Look for some light that does not dim when you turn
down the instrument light dimmer (glove compartment, maybe?). If you
don't have anything near the radio, you may have to draw a wire from
the light switch. You will definitely find the right signal there.

Thanks, what does the "lights on signal" do anyway? Does it activate a chime
when the headlight is left on when the ignition key is pulled out or is it
something else? I've tried to connect to the new headunit antenna terminal
but it just pull too much current for the antenna motor to operate. The next
thing I could think off is the ignition wire terminal from the radio.

Most likely, it will dim the deck lights when your dash lights are
turned on.

Then you need to use a relay.

The radio's ignition wire is there to turn the radio on when you turn
the key on.
