Will a US car stereo work in India
I am planning to buy Sony CDXGT610UI from US for my car in India
(Maruti Swift). This is a hatchback car similar to Suzuki swift (Used in europe). I want to know if car stereos bought in US are compatible overseas? |

the only issue that I could imagine you might run into is the way that radio signals are received. Otherwise, I believe that CD's are all the same. -- flak_monkey |

In North America we use a 70 micro second pre-emphysis on FM audio. Most of
the world uses 50 micro seconds. Thus you may have to turn the treble up a bit. There may be a switch for this in the unit. Richard. |
