Default Low-Output MC Coils

I have a MMF-5 turntable that came with a Goldring 1012 cartridge. I'd
like to upgrade to a low-output moving coil cartridge for about
$200-$600. My AVA Ultra SL preamp has a phono stage, and I have an
Audio Interface CST-80 step-up transformer that I haven't used for a
while. I'm in the late stages of building Orion loudspeakers. I listen
almost exclusively to classical music, and have a large lp collection
in very good condition. Advice?
