cd player reads error in 2002 Chevrolet Prizm
I have a cd player consolidated with an am-fm stereo factory installed.
The Cd player displays "error" and will not play the CD. The radio works. The nearby dealership wants $800.00 to replace the unit (this includes sending it to the manufacturer for possible repair with a temporary "loaner CD-Radio" installed). I have not priced the unit. Does anyone know about replacing this? Is it a simple plug-in to the wiring harness or more complicated? Any info is appreciated. Dave Flat Rock, Michigan |
