Signal input/output via RCA jacks or 5pin DIN connector
Output controllable for each channel so you can match the deck to your
amplifier.
Recording via microphone jacks on the front with adjustable levels.
Line input also adjustable from the front.
4-track stereo 3 3/4 and 7 1/2 inches per second.
Tape speed adjustable plus or minus 6%.
4 heads, 3 motors
Headphone jack.
AC outlet on the back
120 Volt, 60 Hz
Mic/Line mixing possible
Claimed frequency response 20-20,000 Hz and wow and flutter less than
..05% at 7 1/2 inches per second

This was a very popular deck, but it's only "audiophile" because open-reel
is an audiophile format.

I used their RT-2000 "semi-pro" deck for several years, but sonically, it
wasn't up to ReVox, Otari, or even a three-head Nakamichi. * The sound was
somewhat dry and grainy.

* Before anyone moves to respond. Yes, the Pioneer had much better headroom,
especially HF. But what came out of the Nakamichi sounded more like what
went in.
