I am interested in making a custom speaker pod to hold my tweeters
and 4" midrange speakers. I would like the speakers to be mounted
to my a pillars. Organically I was thinking of using fiberglass,
but then I got the idea of making a mold of my current a-pillars,
making a modal to sculpt the speaker pod onto and then using that to
make a the mold to pour the actual new a-pillar. Has anyone done
this before? Am I totally off my rocker or is this how some folks
make speaker pods?
