I know looks can be deceiving, but the RCA interconnects that came
with the Scosche Amp kit I bought last night look REALLY cheap. Has
anyone put them into service, if so how did they fair for you?

I have used Scosche amp wiring kits and they worked great. Most kits are
generally good (and close to the same) if the company has a good reputation
(Rockford Fosgate, Scosche, Phoenix Gold, etc.).
