DVD-Audio/SACD player with index control
Hi all knowlegable.
Does there exist in the audio/video-market a DVD-player able to play DVD-audio and SACD that also has index indicator and control when playing normal (44.1 kHz 16 bit 2 channel) audio CD? My old CD player Philips CD-960 from 1987 has this funtion to let me position my listening start inside a track by jumping to next or previous index. I know that not many CD player provides you with index control (nor that many CDs have index either, and that not many consumer are aware that such facillity exists) I am in the progress of upgrading my sound source into multichannel audio (SACD and DVD-audio) and I don't want to lose the index feature. Among my CDs that have index a 'Genesis' "Foxtrot", 'PLP' "Gothic Impressions" and 'After Crying' "Show" Regards Kent |
