Default Tube websites?

I'm looking for websites detailing the evolution of early
tube types in the 1920's,and history of companies such as
Cunningham, Hytron, Marathon, Eveready/Raytheon, Ceco, RCA, etc.

Also, are there any sites out there that have schematics of
early (1920's - 1950's) equipment such as amps, mic preamps,
especially early DHT circuits?

Any links? or other info?

TIA

Forget the web - go out and buy these books :

"Saga of the Vacuum Tube" G Tyne
"70 Years of Radio Tubes and Valves" J Stokes

There are half a dozen others, but the above two (especially Tyne) are
the definitave references for tube evolution in the '20s. Not audiofodder
however.

How about mine? http://www.audiophool.cjb.net. Check out the service
books from the Radio Television Institute, and the Thordarson ap
notes. Links to many others too.
