Default M-Audio Omni Problem - can you confirm?

I've posted this email to a few places but have gotten no response. If
anyone could help I'd be appreciative:

I read on Google that you have a M-Audio Omni Studio and wanted to know if
you could confirm a problem I'm having. On the back of the Omni there are
four stereo (TRS) Aux In's (for monitoring purposes), two of which can be
routed to their respective HW Ins (for recording) by depressing the "To Ins
1,2" (to route Aux 1 to inputs 1/2, or the "To Ins 3,4" to route Aux In 2 to
the 3/4 input of the Omni). Depressing the switch is supposed to mute the
Aux In (which it does) and it adds a pad (I think about 12dB) which it does
and route it to the inputs (which it does). But it also switches the
channels (left for right, right for left). If you were monitoring a synth
(say a piano) that's low notes were panned left and the high notes were
panned right, now the sounds are reversed (the high notes are coming out of
the left and vice-versa).

Actually, it's worse than that. The L/R panning is actually correct when the
"To Ins" button is depressed but is reversed when in the up (monitoring)
position. I hadn't noticed this until the other day as all I had been
monitoring up until then was a SBLive that, due to a wonky driver (at least
I read that was the case), could actually have it's outputs reversed. Since
usually all I do is monitor the SB I assumed this was the problem that been
causing the left to come out of right and made up a reversed cord to
compensate. Now that I've started monitoring other things besides the SBLive
I realized that it's the Aux Ins that are reversed! (Not sure about Aux In 3
and 4 - I haven't tested them yet). Once I did a number of tests to confirm
that it was the Omni that was messed up (and coming up with the correct
cords) when I went to record (by depressing the "To Ins" buttons) they
panned correctly! What a nightmare. This means that it's practically useless
for it's intended purpose. You can EITHER monitor (and wire accordingly) OR
keep them depressed to record (which knocks out the normal inputs so no
one's going to do that!).

Can you confirm this is happening to someone besides just me? I got mine as
soon as the Omni came out (with a Delta 66) so they may have fixed it by
now. Probably too late for them to fix mine but at least I'll know I'm not
going crazy.
