sound too Italian or creation to me. so I am guessing that this is
not the case. an alternative meaning is a bundle of sticks or iron
bars, now why exactly Nospam wishes to call Mr. turner an pile of
Australian sticks is worthy of closer inspection. could it be that
Nospams alliteration is to Mr. turner as a builder?, a creator? a
diviner of things from nature to support and provide succor to mankind
?

So all I can Nospam, is that you have clearly not translated your
local patois to this part of the world.

I thought that I would provide this analysis for you all just to show
that you may have misconstrued Nospams meaning.

in the UK, it is lost on us because everybody sucks. It's something we all
do with a hard boiled sweet or a cough lozenge in order to stimulate the
saliva glands to extract the flavour. The Oxford English Dictionary defines
it quite plainly.
Anybody who has only recently adopted the language should note that regional
or national insults are, probably, completely meaningless, elsewhere.
It has been suggested that .. 'you suck' ... has a sexual connection. Why
this should be insulting is beyond me. If I have a female to suck, this
put's me one step ahead of somebody who hasn't, and 40 years of females
leads me to believe that the creation of a partial vacuum, somewhere around
her person, is not of any great importance. Blow and suck are frequently
associated with sexual pleasure. I prefer my females at 14.3 lb/sq in..
Inflate or evacuate them as you will.

Aussie Faggot ? The faggot is a traditional product originating, correct
me if I am wrong, in SW England. It's meat, fat, offal, herbs, onions, and
anything else you choose to throw into it, including the left overs from
last night's meal. Add flour, form it into balls, and warm them up to form
a tasty evening meal, at little cost, tomorrow night. You don't suck
them, though, you just eat them.
Nowadays, it's called a Big Mac. Another example of British inventiveness
taken out for a ride by US corporate marketing. Crap + marketing = profit.
Having watched a few American canned laughter situation comedies, I
understand it means homosexual over there !! The connection between a
cheap evening meal and a homosexual is a little tenuous, to say the least.

I had...and this was long before the Blues Brothers... a Dodge
Polara of almost exactly the same description except it had
a 383 (as I recall, Illinois State Police cars of that
vintage only had 383's, Indiana had the 440's).
The bias-ply "cop tires" stunk, no wet weather traction
at all, no wonder I remember seeing state police cars in the
ditch during the winter. Suspension was nice & tight,
and the State Police did a decent job of maintenence, so
the motor still didn't burn oil and it didn't need new U-joints
and ball joints like most Chrysler products of that era
with over 80,000 miles on them. The distibutor wouldn't
hold dwell so I put a rebuilt cast iron dual point out of
a junk DeSoto in it..
