Default TC M5000: Battery replacement procedure?

Hello from Cape Town

My M5000's battery seems to be flat - if I switch the unit off, it forgets
the authorisation for the optional software, and the diagnostic tests give
the result "serial information mismatch".

I opened the lid, and saw on the LHS just below the power supply and stiffy
drive, a vertical coin-shaped object which I presume is the battery! It sems
to be soldered in place, and I wondered if anyone can advise me how to
replace it, bearing in mind that the only TC agent is a thousand miles away.

Any help would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Murray
