Default New NAD AV Receiver Shuts Down

I can't tell you what's wrong except to take advantage of the 2 yr warranty.
My T751 has intermittent problem of not outputting a sub signal. Brought it
to the shop and they didn't find anything wrong. I use it mainly for 2
channel listening nowadays.
I find the speaker settings are too basic for an AV reciever.

I recently purchased the NAD AV receiver, T762. I've had it running for
three days and noticed intermittent "popping" sounds -- regardless of

source
or mode. Now, the unit shuts down after playing for several minutes
(sometimes less). It happens at all volumes. Perhaps these two things are
related. I'd appreciate anyone with thoughts/ideas on this. Thanks

Return/exchange it ASAP. NAD is notorious for very bad quality control
and you almost certainly got a lemon (as was my first NAD AV receiver).
But the ones that work are quite nice.

My first thought is that if you bought this new from a dealer, I would
report the problem and ask for a replacement unit.
