if anyone has these on cassette or cd
i would really appreciate getting them
since my machine has been initialized.

i would assume he's talking about preset patterns stored within the
machine. you can save or load these via i/o on the back.

i have an LM-2 as well, but the battery is dead inside and i have
never replaced it. the first couple of years i had it, i didn't even
know you could save the patterns internally after you turned it off!

you might try:

they are masters of all things Linn...he sells replacement EPROMS as
well with all sorts of custom sounds. if anyone would have a copy of
the factory presets, it would probably be this guy...or maybe this
one:

i know roger still offers the MPC60 OS upgrade, leading one to believe
he hasn't simply abandoned his old creations without looking back. he
just might have he presets laying around on a CD somewhere...couldn't
hurt to ask...

let us know what you come up with. i'd be interested to hear how you
fare!
