Default xm roadie 2 trick

I am not sure if this has been posted before, but with the magnetic
antenna that comes with the roadie 2, I found that I can get good
reception with the antenna on my dashboard under my dashmat by
attaching the magnet to a 4 x 5 piece of metal that sits loose on the
dash. This trick helped me and maybe it will some other people who
want to keep a clean, portable installation.

Same here. I picked up a square electrical outlet cover plate at Home Depot,
and then attached a sheet of that sticky stuff they sell to keep your cell
phone from sliding around on the dash board. It makes a nice anchor which
does not slide around.
