Does anyone have any info on how to program AstroStart units?
Specifically, I have an AstroStart 2100 that came with my Jeep, and
would like to hook up the power door locks and rear hatch release.
This unit a row of about 8 DIP switches next to an LED, and I'm
guessing that is used to program the unit.

Anyone? I've tried getting information from AstroStart and they won't
give up any info, telling me to find a local dealer instead. (Which,
BTW, there isn't one in my area.)

I'm also looking for information on the dip switch but for an old
RS120 remote starter. If I find something, I'll let you know.

Are you still looking for programming the AstroStart 2100? Actually, for
the door locks there is no programming needed, just connecting the right
wires to the right wires in the vehicle in the proper way. The DIP
switches are used to program such things as tach rate, alarm disarm,
programming in new remotes, etc. I have an installation manual that I
could mail to you if you would like to give me your address.
