Twenty-year-old speakers? What price does the seller want?

If you like how they sound, go ahead. You will probably want stands to
put them on. Those could cost more than the speakers.

The year is 1980?
Then they probably used foam surrounds.
Foam is difficult to judge by appearance.
Ie., they may look fine & disintegrate on use.
Include in the ownership cost the price the cost of replacing surrounds.

"Cantor III is a compact 2-way loudspeaker system incorporating a
passive bass radiator to extend low frequency response..."
You're right, too much risk. In an other place one suggest a maximum of
$100.00.

Thanks,
Lionel
