Default Urban Assembly Academy for History and Citizenship for Young Men needs your help!

To all,

The Music Department of The Urban Assembly Academy for History and
Citizenship for Young Men is diligently working to develop a first class
music program for the attending scholars. You can help! If you have
musical instruments that are no longer being used and you would like a "good
home" for them UAAHC is the place. To donate your musical instruments,
please contact Yusef Assaan, at 718-293-7200 or .
For tax purposes, you will receive a receipt for the instrument to use as
documentation for donation. Please do not procrastinate or disregard this
plea. Allowing our youth the opportunity to explore their genius,
inventively, for some, is a matter of life or death. ACT NOW!

We are in need of:

a.. Guitars and Basses
b.. Drums and Percussion instruments
c.. Keyboards and Midi Controllers
d.. Soundproofing materials and Rack Spaces
e.. Dynamic/ Effects Processors
f.. Microphones
g.. Headphones
h.. Cables
i.. Consoles
j.. Soundcards
k.. Broadcasting Equipment

* We are in need of any functioning audio equipment as we are attempting to
provide a well rounded music program that covers the creative, as well as,
the technical aspects of music.

The mission of the Urban Assembly Academy for History & Citizenship is to
nurture, educate, and graduate young men who are of exemplary character,
civic-minded, critical thinkers and skillful problem solvers. Through a
rigorous academic focus on history and citizenship, our scholars come to
understand the importance of their role in community development. The
curriculum provides them with the skills, knowledge, and commitment needed
to accomplish public purposes. Upon graduation our scholars will be able to
organize people to address social issues, solve problems in groups, speak in
public, petition and protest to influence public policy, and vote.

Thank You

Yusef Assaan
