Default Ramsa Converter Word Clock Out/Thru

To change the WZ series default word clock setting from slave to
master, the internal suitcase jumpers on CN908 and CN907 needs to be
re-positioned over the common & out pins, 2 & 3. The Jumpers are
located near the word clock BNC connector at the back of the
converter.
To access the jumpers, the top cover must be removed. Unplug the AC
power cord from the power source before attempting to remove the (14)
Phillips head screws…( 2 top, 2 rear, 3 each rack ear, 2 each side).
You may need to use a pair of needle nose pliers or tweezers to remove
and reset the jumpers.
1 WC Thru (Slave)
2 Common
3 WC out (Master)
1+2 = Slave (Default)
2+3 = Master
Warning!
Only qualified service personnel or system installers should make all
internal settings adjustment, option card installation, or rack
mounting. If adjustments are required, please refer to the Service
Manual available for this product.

Some devices need to receive word clock at a specific frequency, and
then they internally convert to the selected sampling frequency. There
are some devices that need a 48kHz-wordclock signal for operation at
96 kHz.
In order to have complete flexibility in connecting to a wide variety
of digital audio equipment this factory default was provided. .
