For anyone who buys cd's and 'occasionally' makes copies, then this
may be of interest to you.

The article is slightly inaccurate since it says that there is no way
a buyer can tell if the cd is copy protected - in fact the ones that
I've come across have a logo on the back showing a small icon of a pc
and a small icon of a cd player plus the BMG logo.

A similar trial in Germany was suspended because of public pressure -
apparently these cds are not 100% compatible with all cd players.
