Heroic deeds in the family
Patrick Turner tells us:
"In 1927, when the road was mainly a dirt track, my father cycled from Sydney to Cairns. He was much fitter than I was at the same age." He must have been. it is 1700 miles on today's direct roads. It was probably a long way over 2000 miles on the dirt tracks of the 1927. What do you know about the bike he used, Patrick? Heroic deeds in the family

Andre is trying to be the Supreme Ruler of RBT. I merely made noted something that might be of interest to cyclists, and to those who know Patrick (a cyclist and hi-fi designer). I repeat my entirely inoffensive post below in its entirety so everyone can judge whether Sundquists snippy comment is relevant. If it isn't of interest to you, Sundquist, why not have the good manners simply to pass by? Why make yourself look like a fool with such a crassly juvenile comment? Why do you try so hard to ruin the newsgroup experience for everyone else? Looks to me like you're the one who wants to be Ruler of RBT and tell us who can say what here. Here is my original again for those who care about cycling rather than scoring cheap points on the internet: *** Patrick Turner tells us: "In 1927, when the road was mainly a dirt track, my father cycled from Sydney to Cairns. Ahh, the wig and sheath dress made me think he was simply wanting to be a Supreme. |

I merely made noted something that might be of interest to cyclists, "Merely" would not require repetition. Insecurity explains that part. And the craving for attention explains the cross-posting to a non- bicycle group. Two lies in a single sentence. Not a record by any means, but quite typical of Andre when he is not taking his meds.
