Hi everybody,

I've got a sound effect of a bell (a .wav file) and I want to decrease
the frequency (speed) of the audio to make it sound like a slower bell.
I don't have experience with manipulating sound files, but I guess this
should be feasible without too much effort.

Is there any easy way to do this? Please, let me know of any
suggestion.

Yes, probably with any decent sound editor.

I say "probably" because I'm only familiar with one--Sound Forge--which
has a "pitch" tool to change the pitch of a selected section of a sound
file. But I imagine that any other decent editor should let you do the
same thing. It's a trivial adjustment.
