Default 91 explorer possible radio shortage

i am trying to figure out what would be the best way to fix my radio. i bought the truck off some one and the radio adn most of the wires were missing. i tried to fix them, but there is no power going to the radio. the fuse is fine, i tried to check all the wires, but i saw nothing, what can i do to see if there is a shortage? i really need music in my ride!
