Default Digitech Quad fx-processor Upgrade

Hi there,

I have a DigitechStudio Quad-4 unit in my rack. Bought it second-hand,
and use it quite often. I found an update chip on E-Bay, that will
update any Quad to the v2 version. (more presets & user memory, more
I/O routing)

Will this also work on a Quad4 ? On the screen at startup it display's
1.02, but I'm still not sure this chip is compatible.
I tried google, but not any clear answers.

Buy & Try is a bit risky, I don't want to fry my unit.
Any ideas ?

Gerbert
