Summary
Very Rare Leak 2001 Transcription Unit with original manuals and
packaging . No reserve so must sell - a rare opportunity to purchase a
true hi-fi classic I am in London SE22 - it's in very good condition
with original packaging and manuals having been in storage for some

appears to be in excellent condition and working order with a smooth
silent running mechanism - the pressure pads appear soft and pliant and
bounce back gently on compression and comes with its original high
class packing material , a spare home made platter (out of a 78rpm
record ) and spare headshell and instruction book . Spicers book on
Leak suggests that the 3000 series of products was the last produced by
Rank with the Leak name. All the products (except the speakers) were,
apparently, sourced from Roland Electronics (later Rotel) in Japan. In
1979 Leak offerings were discontinued. According to Spicer, the 2001
turntable made in the 70's was like the TD150 from Thorens . It weighs
including high class packaging a hefty 17 kilos so will send UK by
standard parcels for =A315 including insurance .Will post
