Default RCA Inputs on VCR/DVD Fried?

While plugging my camcorder into the front of my VCR/DVD the insulated
wire picked up static off the front of the TV screen and at the same
time a spark jumped from the wire connector to the input jack. Now
Video does not work, sound does. Can't recall for certain, but I
think it's safe to assume I was plugging in the video connector. Has
anyone ever come across this?

It's a JVC VCR/DVD. Assuming there is a fuse, how do I identify it,
fix it?

Please help if you can. Thanks.

Jim
