Default Feedback on Vegas and T-racks

I'm interested in any feedback about
using Vegas for audio recording.
Also suggestions for a mastering software
other than T-racks
Thanks

Default Feedback on Vegas and T-racks

I use Vegas all the time for tracking live shows-i've never had it
crash and it's very simple to use. I've done quite a few shows at
24bit/44.1 16-24 tracks for 1-3 hours at a time....if you turn off all
the graphic rendering and peak file building it's amazingly
efficient-no real MIDI functions to clutter up the interface if you
don't need em.

And the broadcast waves can be taken into any other multitrack
software....

Can't tell you about Vegas, but T-Racks is a good deal and great value
for the money.
Other possibilities may be the Waves Bundle, BBE Sonic Maximizer, or
the stuff by PSP, especially Vintage Warmer is great. Sonic Timeworks
has a nice mastering compressor and mastering EQ to offer.
