background vocal versus background music?
So this explains why a song I recorded that was used as incidental music in the
movie Spy Game looped the instrumental part of the song instead of playing the vocals...(you can barely hear it anyway.) -Jay -- x------- Jay Kadis ------- x---- Jay's Attic Studio ----x x Lecturer, Audio Engineer x Dexter Records x x CCRMA, Stanford University x http://www.offbeats.com/ x x-------- http://ccrma-www.stanford.edu/~jay/ ----------x |

background vocal versus background music?
"Jay Kadis" wrote in message ... So this explains why a song I recorded that was used as incidental music in the movie Spy Game looped the instrumental part of the song instead of playing the vocals...(you can barely hear it anyway.) I did one once for a movie made for the Playboy Channel. It ended up appearing in a scene where it was playing on the car radio... but it played for almost a minute, so the writer did get a small check. Talk about barely hearing it..... -- David Morgan (MAMS) http://www.m-a-m-s.com http://www.artisan-recordingstudio.com |
