So Ted is going to die.

lkaboutaudio.com What do I think? I'm not totally without human sympathy, I feel bad for any human who knows that he will die soon, in some sense, and for the family. On the scale of human disasters, it is about a 3, or less. But also I know that Ted Kennedy has been one of the most poisonous people in high power for a hell of a long time. He was involved in what was almost certainly a drunk driving incident that killed someone, and political power covered it up without question and perhaps prevented that individual from being rescued. The full story isn't officially known even today but enough is beyond question that Ted never should have been allowed a privilege of power in government after that. Like his brothers, he was raised to rule. His dad bought him any number of offices before he developed enough political momentum to go it on his own. The bright side of the story may be that with his passing, a certain number of tongues will no doubt be loosed. Certain areas clouded by mystery and rumor will finally see the light of day. |

When I copy an article to Usenet I always use quotation marks and post a link. Very rarely a technical accident will occur. I'll go back and repost this link if it's brought to my attention (and I don't catch it first). -- Message posted using http://www.talkaboutaudio.com/group/rec.audio.opinion/ More information at http://www.talkaboutaudio.com/faq.html |
