The Krooborg's latest Kroodown
LanguageManglerBorg lectures a Normal on usage. Bull**** alert. The above words were coined last night, based on nearly five years of SACD use, four SACD players, and several sets of deliberate, level-matched comparisons. Just goes to show that you don't know what the word "coined" means, Harry. "debating trade" alert. The following snot is Krootypical squawking, the Beast's reflexive response to having been proved wrong in the preceding exchange. Coined means to make up a new word, No it does not, you dumb ****. Coined is the past tense or past participle of coin. To coin means to make up a new word. and none of the words above were coined by you. They are standard English words, and their application to audio is decades-old. And yet all of the Normals knew what he meant. It's true he didn't choose his words well, but his meaning got across anyway. Maybe you should assert that Harry "liberated" the words in question. ;-) Bye now, Arnii. It's been nice humiliating you. -- "Christians have to ... work to make the world as loving, just, and supportive as is possible." A. Krooger, Aug. 2006 |
