Default The Beatles Mono Remasters

The excitement is back!
At last, there are decent transfers from the original tapes that show
that at least some transfer engineers have learnt the lessons from the
past almost three decades of apalling transfers of analog pop/rock
material to CDs.
There's been no tampering, no compression, no 'cleaning-up' of a sort
which would normally have stripped away all ambience.
Anyway with half a decent hi-fi outfit will appreciate the richness
and depth of these transfers. Do yourself a favour and take a listen.
Start with their greatest album, 'Revolver', and hear how it was meant
to sound. It's very close to the original LP, but subtly better in
every respect. Those dreadful 1987 CD transfers are headed for where
they belonged all along ... in the garbage!
Cheers all
