Obama/Richardson

I've been hoping for that one

It won't be Hillary, he will pick someone
with at list a little loyalty, not
someone who is out only for herself
and will disrupt his presidency just to
foster her own advancement.

Richardson is one of the few capable and astute Dems
another good choice is Biden.

for McCain, Jindal.
The old fart needs some energetic blood to
campaign for him. I fear McCain is a poor campaigner.

I still like the idea of Condy Rice as McCain's running mate. Wise,
no...exciting, yes.

I did some research on Richardson right after he dropped out of the
race, and thought to myself, "Wow...we might have missed out with this
guy."

I like Edwards, but I think he lacked focus and consistency during his
campaign. We'd hear all about him one week, and then he'd drop off
the face of the earth the next.

Edwards is hair job and a hypocrite.
Plus he lends nothing to the ticket.
Obama will do well in the Carolinas
OOPS!, I remember that Edwards couldn't take his own state.

Richardson was my congressman many years ago when I lived
in New Mexico. He was responsive to his constituents and
surprisingly accessible. I think he would make a great VP,
but might be more effective in the Cabinet.

For a minute I though you meant John Warner. I think he's old enough
to have dated McCain's grandmother.

I lived in Virginia for 8 years, but before Mark Warner arrived, so
I'm not that familiar with him.

Let's start a "draft JA for VP" petition immediately.

So JA, if drafted, will you run? If elected, will you serve?

Curiously, both Obama and McCain are damning (damming?) the bowling alley
in the White House basement. It's been there since Ike or JFK put it in,
and suddenly it's an albatross to both of them.

Any VP candidate should come out against needless remodeling expenses.

He's here to do work Americans won't do.

It is true that when Stereophile advertised for a home-grown
editor back in 1985, no-one was interested in the job, though
that was at least in part due to the fact that candidates
would have had to moved to New Mexico.

this is just another example of Atkinson's BS saying things
I've never said.

No? You argued at length a while back that I should
not have been granted my H1B visa, that in your
opinion I was not professionally qualified.
Fortunately for me, the INS didn't agree with you.
