Default simple firewire audio interface

Hi,
I have a new iBook notebook and the only option is a firewire audio
interface (well usb too, but that is a last resort). I am looking for
atleast 4 analog outputs(2 stereo) and 2 analog inputs(1 stereo) and a
headphone jack. That is it. I don't need midi, mic pre-amps,
digital/optical i/o or anything else. I think 10ms latency is fine.
Does this exist in a small package?

this is the closest thing i have found, but it is a pc card.

Thanks!
Chuck

Well, the item you pulled up was a PC Bus card, as you said, but obviously
you're not coming up with search parameters that match your needs to your
results. M-Audio has Firewire for Mac and I believe it might even include a
basic level of Pro Tools, although I can't seem to reach either the US or UK
websites right now (Japan is working fine but I can't read it). M-Audio has
a number of devices that not only have the number of inputs/outputs but
built in mic pres. I'd start there.

It's called the 410 Firewire and can be used with either Mac or PC. I don't
think it comes with any version of Pro Tools, but you can download PT Free
if you want a "basic level" of Pro Tools.
