Try taking the board out and install the 324 drivers first. Then

reinstall
the card and it should come up and see it. If you installed the card

first
it usually fails. It's also detailed in the manual this way.

I did.

I would bet on a mobo issue...do you have a Via chipset other than KT133a?

That's what I've decided. It worked on another computer. It's not sharing
any IRQ's and I took out all of my other PCI cards. It's an Asus
motherboard with Sis765 chipset, not Via. I had problems with my Delta 1010
and old motherboard which used a Via chipset so I stayed away from Via. I
flashed the BIOS and still no change so today I bought a new mobo (MSI
K7N2). It's going to be a pain in the ass to backup everything and swap
motherboards, but I'm sure it will work afterwards. I'll let you know.

I know they worked well with both the 735 and 745 chipsets, but I don't know
about the 765. Can't see why it wouldn't. Seems that only VIA can build a
chipset that fixes audio and then go about building new chipsets that
totally misses the fixes from the old one. But the SiS have gotten good
reviews most everywhere, and Jim Roseberry (www.studiocats.com) builds all
his systems with the 735/745s.

Yep, tried it in every one with nothing but the video card. I'm pulling out
my motherboard in about 5 minutes.

Do let us know how you get on. Probably too late, but couldn't you just try
it in a different PC (work, friend, relative) ?

good luck !
