Default Are the Shure E5 and E5c in ear phones the same???

Hello all,
Can someone please tell if these units are the same. My local music
store doesn't know the difference either. I would like to use these in
a live application with my band. I'm also finding out that the "c"
series is more for ipod use. Is this correct? Can I use e5c's
onstage? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,

The Shure site does not list an E5 model -- only the E5C.

I'd like to point out that Shure's spec page incorrectly lists the models'
efficiency as "sensitivity," which requires doing a bit of math to figure out
the relative output of each model. (They have significantly different spec'd
impedances.)
