Comcast no longer supports Usenet - What are others using for access

In about 5 days, I'll no longer be able to access my groups via comcast. Is there a consensus as to a good provider? If you are text-only, like me, then you can get accounts for less than $8.00 per month at GigaNews. I suspect there are other services for less. It was less than $5.00 per month until Comcast and other cut their groups, and I am grandfathered at that. I think I pay $46.00 a year for less than 2G of transfer per month, which is plenty if all you do is read. -- Mickey When the only tool you have is a hammer, all your problems tend to look like nails. -- Abraham Maslow |

I have them automatically charge my plastic annually and don't even give it a second thought. |
