Hi,

I have a Grado Reference Platinum cartridge (standard mount) I would like to
trade even for a Grado Prestige Gold P-Mount.

I just bought a turntable requiring a P-mount cartridge and would like to
get a Grado Gold P-mount. I have a Grado Platinum in extremely good
condition I'm willing to trade for the Gold.

The Platinum sounds wonderful but not a good match for my other turntable, a
Systemdek IIX - near the end of the record, as the cartridge gets close to
the motor, it picks up a very low level of hum from the motor. I've read
elsewhere on the web that this combination was a problem.

The Platinum sells for close to double what the Gold does ($300 vs $180) and
has a mahogany body.

I do have a number of other cartridges I could trade if you are not
interested in the Platinum, most of the others are moving coil:

Linn ASAK
Supex
Denon
Ortofon
