Grado cartridges too noisy?
Seems like the Prestige cartridges pick up external noise to easy? (TT
motor etc) Are there quieter cartridges - Oritfon, Goldring? |

Grado cartridges too noisy?

Apparently they did because Merrill sold a rpl motor with nonmagnetic shaft and a mu metal plate for AR owners wanting to use Grado cartridges. Ortofon, perhaps it is, was thought to be quieter. |
