Default RME QuadMic - Power Options

It says that the QuadMic can be powered by batteries, but it doesn't say
how. Is it a 9V that's easy to plug in, or would I have to make a battery
pack? If the latter, how would I go about that? It says "operates with
voltages ranging from 7-38V DC" so would I connect four 9V batteries in
series? How easy is it to connect the battery pack to the unit? I'm hoping
to buy one in the next week or so. Looks like a great unit, especially at
that price. If anyone's used it and would care to post a review (or just
comment on the preamps) that would be great. Thanks a lot.

Thomas
