Default Nytech CXA 252 Amp from 1980

Repaired (i think) one of these amps.
It seems mighty weird , never seen the like.
2 channel output but not stereo as i've known it.
One channel is left mid range and bass (no treble) and the other
channel treble and right mid range (no bass).
Custom speakers ARC 'B' convert this to
normal stereo apparently.
Agrees with the legends on the back
H F output and
L F output
rather than right and left
Can anyone verify this?
I can find nothing to verify the precise nature
of this set-up on the www.

e-mail (removing .....) electronic hints and repair briefs , schematics/manuals list on
http://homepages.tcp.co.uk/~diverse
