Hey guys!

Got a used Fireport earlier this year from ebay and sadly didn't get a
chance to try it out until now...and it won't work. It fires up, has
power, powers the drive, but the software always says that it can't see any
drives connected.

I've tried this on Mac as well as PC...does anyone know if there's any
tricks I'm missing here to get this to work? Used both the HDtools app as
well as the native app that Alesis released.

Do you run an older OS? Alesis has a bulletin about updating the OS as
Fireports aren't recognized by an older one.

Ahhh David!! You may be onto something here...this particular one (we have 2) is running V1.15 - that article states that the drives made with the latest versions only work with the Fireport...however, the link for the OS download is dead. Does anyone have the last OS that was made for the HD24 on hand?
