intentional distortion and what is unintentional distortion.

I think you'd have to listen to the vinyl to approach figuring that out.


Who knows? Back then they weren't all that hip as to what would
translate well to vinyl. I've heard stereo pressings of "Are You
Experienced" that when summed to mono, Jimi's vocals would pretty much
disappear leaving nothing but the echo return. I don't think it was
intentional.
