Hi,
You should change the rulers at the top of the screen to minutes and
seconds and forget about trying to sync them up. If you really need
midi, the tap tempo function in DP lets you tap in a conductor track on
a keyboard. We did that once for some old John McCormac recordings.
He's an Irish Temor, propably done straight to disc.
Anyway, if you want to put the wav. in time with a strict midi tempo,
Live by Ableton will let you put the track in time by using its "warp
function" though it may be trick to do this to "Jazzier" timing without
picking up a few artifacts on along the way.
The most elegant way is probably to change the tempo to suit the song
by playing in a conductor track.
